My Humanness is an Embellished Tongue is a surreal depiction of representational animal forms and landscape showing the harmony and movement between figures. A gradient background flowing from dark blue to a yellow grey tint lets the viewer's eye draw to the emphasis that is located in the middle and foreground. Organic shapes combined with curved lines are used to form the representational sun. A bold yellow shape that represents the sun's rays surrounds the inner red-orange core. This draws emphasis to the cat-like figure placed at the center of the composition. Curved lines, abstract elements, and geometric figures are used in order to give the object a texture and naturalistic feeling. Moving to the bottom of the composition, the viewer notices the gradient of yellow to orange and the triangular forms of mountain tops. Representational animal forms along with geometric patterns let the line blur between a representational and abstract work.
