WHO DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR FRAMING IN PHILADELPHIA?
Because of the value of the paper-based artworks sold at brandywine.art, we recommend that all art be framed archivally, including use of UV-filtering plexiglass. This will protect your print from the damaging acids found in non-archival matte boards and the harmful UV rays of both natural and artificial light, which cause color fading.
If you live in Philadelphia—the home-base of BWA and brandywine.art—we highly recommend the professional services of American Picture Framing Inc, 3821 Powelton Avenue (215.382.3900) in the University City section of Philadelphia. Their work meets our standards and they offer a generous discount on framing art purchased from brandywine.art.
