Because of the value of the paper-based artworks sold at brandywine.art, we recommend that all art be framed archivally and, when possible, use UV plexiglass. This will protect the paper from acid used in cheaper, non-archival matte boards and protect the art from the harmful sun's rays, which can cause the colors to fade, especially when placed in direct or indirect sunlight. By following these recommendations, your art should be able to hang in most places in the home or office.
If you live in the brandywine.art home base of Philadelphia, we highly recommend the professional services of
American Picture Framers, 3821 Powleton Avenue (215.382.3900)
in the University City section of Philadelphia. Their work meets our standards and they also offer a generous discount on framing art purchased from brandywine.art.
