From the Artist
The print Night Thoughtsreflects a persistent interest in urban landscape, in its surreal quality, its mystery, and its threat. In its heart, I placed another landscape, also surreal, mysterious, and threatening. These are images of extreme situations: nature in a violent and destructive manifestation and a city, to some the antithesis of nature, in a grimand faceless version. I almost wish I had provided the viewer with a way to journey from one to the other.
