From the Artist
Tun Casa Tunis one in a series of house forms I collaged in a sketchbook in March of 1995. It followed a belief period of non-production and is a direct result of getting one's house in order, ready to create. Periods of production usually involve destroying or alternating remnants of past efforts and integrating new, usually found material in an attempt to create order out of chaos. The houses contain secrets, whispers, memories...they are slow spaces for things yet to come.
